Lauralee Hites

I didn’t get lost. I just wandered deeper.

Most people know me as a consultant, strategist, or speaker. For years, I helped organizations fix systems, build cultures, and move forward with clarity.

But behind the flip charts and frameworks, there was always a quieter voice asking:

“What about what really matters?”

What about the grief no one talks about at work?
The loneliness of leadership?
The ache for purpose beneath all our productivity?

Eventually, I stopped ignoring that voice.
And that’s when the map ran out—and the Inner Wilderness began.

I’m Lauralee—a storyteller, solo traveler, spiritual seeker, and lover of long walks, quiet rivers, and meaningful conversation.

My journey through the wilderness wasn’t just metaphorical. I literally packed a bag, hit the road, and began listening—to people, places, and that deep, persistent whisper inside myself.

I meditated in Bhutan.
I cried in airport bathrooms.
I found kindness in strangers, insight in silence, and peace in places I didn’t expect.

This brand—Inner Wilderness—is where I now share what I’ve learned, and what I’m still learning, about what it means to be fully human.
